The quality is great. The backpack has plenty of space. The design is exactly the same just the pockets on the front are different. It may not look as good as the other one but I feel having the pockets open from side to side would be more helpful.The size of this backpack is rather big, but I find its about .5" shorter than what is listed on the image. This would pass as a carry on bag, but it maybe an inch too big as a personal item on a plane. This back pack did come folded in half so it has been a bit compressed. You will definitely need to iron it out and have it stuffed to get it in the right shape. The material seems sturdy and the weight is rather light.As a petite person, this backpack does look ridiculous on me when its fully filled out. I plan on taking this to my trip to Japan, but I will have to be more careful to not hit anyone or take up too much space since this backpack isn't small by any means. I do like that there's buckles to compress the backpack if there isn't much inside. But when you aren't using them all these buckles will be swinging around.The padding on the shoulder straps are a bit flat and stiff. I don't plan on carrying anything heavy so the padding it has should hopefully be good enough. They are wide enough that I feel should distribute the weight well enough.There is sadly only one cup holder pocket. Its on the outside and its way too narrow for my 18 oz water bottle. The other side is the usb charging side and there is a usb cable included, but sadly no side pocket to hold a battery bank!The bottom of the main compartment isn't flat as the photos would make it seem. The shoe compartment is on the bottom so there's just this pocket fabric that I would need to fold to make it seem its flat. The main compartment has a one zipper pocket on the back side and the front side has a variety of pockets. Most of the pockets in this backpack are big. There's no small pockets to organize small stuff outside the variety pockets which just has one pen slot, a mesh pocket, and one small pocket. I do love that it has two other compartments. One on the back that would be great for laptops or tablets, and the one of the front that they advertise as the wet pocket. I think this pocket is for any items with potential liquid spills and if there was one it won't leak outside of this pocket.Overall I think this is a decent backpack.
