## Description

allsun Ultrasonic Leak Detector Kit, 40kHz HVAC & Automotive Leak Tester | Find Air And Vacuum Leaks Faster With 40kHz Ultrasonic Detection For HVAC, Automotive And Sealed System Testing: desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific

Review: It worked amazingly well and saved me $8000 on a new mini spit installation. - Worked amazingly well after failed attempts with a halogen leak detector and 300 psi nitrogen and soap bubbles. I found the leak in my Gree AC heat pump in minutes after spending $1000 over the years on recharging. The leak was a manufacturing defect with a pinhole under perfect evaporators fins. Pulled away the fins and brazed the pinhole shut, vacuumed and recharged. I understand using the ultrasonic noise generator it is great for finding water leaks in cars an other weatherstripping.
Review: works fine - you get what you pay for. not the best but for the price i believe it is decent

## Features

- FAST DETECTION OF AIR & VACUUM LEAKS: Detect hidden air leak and vacuum leak issues before they lead to system failure or costly repairs. This ultrasonic leak detector helps locate tiny leaks in HVAC systems, compressed air lines and industrial equipment for faster diagnostics.
- 40KHZ ULTRASONIC LEAK DETECTION TECHNOLOGY: Built with a 40kHz ultrasonic sensor, this ultrasonic leak detector captures high-frequency signals generated by gas or air escaping from small openings, making it ideal for air leak detection and vacuum leak testing applications.
- PASSIVE & ACTIVE LEAK TEST MODES: Supports passive ultrasonic leak detection for pressurized systems and active mode when paired with an ultrasonic signal transmitter for sealed container testing, HVAC inspection and automotive leak diagnosis.
- ACCURATE LEAK LOCATION FOR HVAC & AUTOMOTIVE: Directional ultrasonic sensing with adjustable gain allows precise leak locating in HVAC leak detection, automotive diagnostics, refrigeration systems, sealed tanks and industrial maintenance environments.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will it or can it detect smallest movement of water flow in a pipe?**
A: Sorry, we are afraid that the ultrasonic leak detector is unable to detect smallest movement of water flow in a pipe.
this air leak detector is tested by ultrasonic. The ultranosic is broadcast through the air.

**Q: Necesito detector de fuga de agua debajo del cemento**
A: Sorry, the leak detector is tested by ultrasonic. The ultranosic is broadcast through the air. If you want to use it to test the water leak detector under cement, I'm afraid it can't be detected.

**Q: Can you detect a water leak in a pipe under concrete floor?**
A: Sorry, it can't detect under concrete.

**Q: Would this work for low pressure vacuum hose in a car emissions system?**
A: This system works by sending out an ultrasonic frequency sound and using the receiver to pick up this signal. I used my unit to check for water leaks in my car. I put the transmitter inside the car near to the leak and used the receiver to check for the generated sound outside and around the door seals of my car. A leak would require an opening in the car's seals and this should allow the sound to get through to be picked up by the detector. It is unlikely that the sound that you are interested in would be detected by this unit.
