I've only had it a few weeks so far, but it seems pretty reasonable. It's seen a few deluges (the early August showers of 2012) and still seems good as new. It's a reasonable size, I'm storing 1 MTB frame with 26" tyres. It's made of the nylon fabric weave with a plastic undercoating so the rain should mostly just drain straight off it.Maybe it can tear if you treat it badly, or roughly pull it off the bike, but you'd only have yourself to blame. Because I'm in London I'm concerned about people knicking it, so ideally I'd like it to have proper ring holes at the bottom that could've doubled up as extra securing for long term use (or preventing it being a cat hangout!) - but it does have an elastic toggle and I loop my bike lock through it so it's not going anywhere without being damaged and hopefully a minor deterrant from opportunistic light fingers! Some have complained that this type creates a moisture build up underneath, but I've not observed that (probably not had it long enough). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 24 February 2014* I've only had this for a fortnight or so so I can't comment on long time durability however it seems very sturdy, has air vents and so far has with-stood some strong winds.I bought it to replace a previous one I had which was rubbish (can't remember the brand but it had bike pictures printed on it). This previous one ripped as soon as I put it on the bike, was very thing material. When it was windy the cover would start to blow off the bike and would rip anywhere it was attached firmly. It also caught the wind to the extent that my bike was constantly being blown over and pushed down the garden.This one seems good, especially in comparison to the other one which, while around £10- £15 cheaper is definitely a false economy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars OK But *by B***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 26 July 2011* My bike is a Claud Butler hybrid, 20" frame and cover fits all but bottom inch of tyres, however, saddle bags and rear wheel stand are also covered. The material seems to be quite sturdy, The only clue for fitment is a small cloth tag labelled "FRONT" which could be easily overlooked. A design modification to clearly delineate handle-bars and saddle areas by means of general tailoring would be useful. It was not necessary to cut the elasticated hem-band to obtain a reasonable fit. There is a velcro strap which I think is intended to loop through something to secure the cover across the underside of the cycle. I could not spot any means of doing so. At least three straps with corresponding buckles on the opposite side would be more useful. I await the first high wind to see if it stays on.
