I use it as a tripod for my S9 while following recipes in the kitchen, for watching youtube videos (or any movies) on my phone when I need my hands free. The extender is smooth and locks in place, and even after losing the bluetooth remote, I could still use my S9 earbuds to release the shutter. Highly recommend!
