It is very flattering on my plus size body. It covers your entire backside and has good chest coverage as well. I find the suit flattering due to the rouching but it is a little tight around the lower stomach. Despite being tighter fitting I didn't find it was really shaping me like shapewear would. Maybe I bought a size too large? It fits well everywhere else though and does a great job smoothing out my back.I do wish there were maybe a little more support for the girls. It gives lounge bra more than sports bra and the straps are not adjustable. It's comfortable and supports enough, but you wouldn't want to do a lot of jumping and running around. I don't mind this, but want to state it because it says it's an athletic suit.I'm petite at 5'3", ~220 lbs, and hourglass shaped.
