Vegetable oil or chainsaw oil, I don't know which. and I do not understand what oil to use when the vial becomes empty (none is prescribed). Instructions say use vegetable oil if trimming fruit trees, because mineral oil might damage the trees. So I assume vegetable oil is ok and I'll just use that. **Q: How to install the chain?** A: For details, you can take a look at the video where we demonstrate the process of installing the chain in detail for reference. If there are still questions you can contact us in time. **Q: How long does it take to Charge** A: I don't know. I used it during the day and charged it over night. Arrived two days prior to expected date. Long term battery life unknown, but lasted the whole job, about 30 minutes of run time over two hours. Recharged in under 1 hour.
