It has 2 zipped pockets big enough to take credit card, cash and maybe mobile phone. Most importantly though, it has a lovely long strap that will comfortable go over my shoulder to wear cross body style. The bag can be easily accessed just below waist level ie about the level of your trouser pocket. Ideal to keep important items safe and secure. My only criticism is that the strap could be a bit more robust. It is permanently attached to bag (I hope) and is about the thickness of string.
