It's difficult to gauge the final diameter but it rolls them without drama. I imagine, being so unsophisticated, it will complain/break if overloaded trying to roll thicker round or flat bar. Review: Good tool - Not used a tool like this before and took some practice to work it out. Looked at Utube video and this really helped. The tool needs greasing first and when doing this the cheap grease nipples snapped of so sent away for some decent ones, as well as another grease gun. Still trying to work out why when rolling a ring the ends never align. The 2 ends are always flat and not curved by about 25mm. Over lapping ends and cutting of the flat ends helps. In my case I used the flat ends on copper bar as part of the unit I was making. Back rolling helped to flatten them even more. The fact that the bar Im rolling twists slightly and causes misalignment at the end is something I can deal with by pulling together and soldering.
