I believe these are mad in Portugal, and it appears as if thee company puts a lot of pride into their bed sheet production, especially in their QA process before release from their manufacturing facility. They are soft and warm. Recently it has been getting down into the single digits and we have gotten a lot of snow as well. I can lower my furnace down to 63 degrees at night and stay very warm under the sheets. Anyhow, I would highly recommend these sheet sets to anyone that wants quality and comfort for many years down the road. By the way, I have had a queen set for about 4 to five years now and the sheets have weathered my washing machine many times, and still keep there shape, comfort, and appearance. Special Note: You probably won't want to use these sheets during the summer months. They were our first flannel sheets and we were hooked. They've lasted for.. gosh, 5+ years. One set finally started getting a little threadbare in a couple spots (helped along by our dog sneaking onto the bed with her claws a time or two, I'm sure) so we went looking for more. Turns out the ones we bought before aren't available anymore, very sad. We kept looking for some that should be about the same and just couldn't find any that checked all the boxes (double brushed, etc etc).We decided to try these out because the pinstripe is nice and because the weight is pretty close to the ones we already have. I'm happy to report that they're great :) Not exactly like the previous 'model' we bought, but close enough that honestly we can't tell unless we're doing a side by side comparison. Still very comfortable, very soft, basically perfect regardless of season, just like the old ones.
