After a good wash the shading did stop. The quality is amazing with minimal tangles. Hair takes color well and the knots bleach beautifully. The reason for 4 stars is that this wig is not 180 density. It more a 130. You can feel and see some of the tracks. I wish sellers are honest about the thickness of the hair they sell. Just make sure you contact the seller making sure they send you a unit true to its density. I have post pictures of what I receive to help you guys make a decision .
