Review: Amazing product and customer service!! - I started off taking the liver because I've watched some videos and read some articles about the benefits of it. It's supposed to be the most nutrient dense food on the planet and well, I felt like I was missing something. Some of the health issues that I've been trying to get handled are : fatigue, low motivation, mood issues, anxiety, not recovering well from working out (or just plain not having the energy/motivation to), etc. (I'm sure I'm missing some symptoms haha) Well anyways, I've been feeling really guilty about being lazy and not reaching my potential and wanted something to help me out and so I got the liver and took 4 pills the first day. I felt it instantly and wow! I've been slowly trying to work out by doing calisthenics at my local park but I never felt like going and halfway through I just wanted to stop. After taking the liver that day I felt a definite noticeable increase in my energy and pushed myself to do more exercises! As another "side effect" my libido shot up that day too which my gf noticed as well haha. And so I kept taking 4 a day but noticed I started having some detox symptoms which concerned me. I read a couple of reviews saying how the owner, Brian, actually responded to anyone who messaged him with any concerns and so I decided to as well. I've never had the experience where the owner of a company personally gets back to you and gives you the advice you need. Brian recommended I go back to 1 pill a day and slowly work back up by adding 1 more pill a week until getting to the recommended serving size of 6. He was also really knowledgeable and shared that some people with certain types of issues like methylation can experience detox symptoms. Well, coincidentally I found out a few years ago I have homozygous MTHFR c677 so that made sense! I've also added the kidney because I had a hunch I had some thyroid issues because I always have cold hands and feet, even in the summer time. My gut also seems super sensitive and I read that it helps with that as well. I seem to tolerate the kidney much better than liver as I'm on 3 pills a day at the moment with no issues and I've noticed my stomach isn't as bothered when eating something "bad" when I take the kidney. As of now, I'm on 2 liver pills a day and 3 kidney pills a day and my detox symptoms went away, and I still feel improved energy than from going without it. When I messaged Brian, he also gave me advice on my methylation issues (adding egg yolks for choline, creatine, getting more glycine, methylfolate, etc.) I'm still continuing to move up slowly and would looove to get back to the dramatic increase in energy and mood I felt the first day without the detox symptoms. My intuition and just the feeling I get when taking these supplements tell me I'm on the right path! I will update this in 1-2 months with my progress! - Oh also, I got my girlfriend to try the liver and kidney as well because she was complaining how it's hard for her to feel consistent motivation to work out and her eczema was bothering her from sweating. Review: Amazing Product, works to rid the body of CHRONIC INFLAMMATION! - Been on Kidney for about 3 months now and have reordered a couple of times. One major improvement for sure I've noticed is my overall urine output flow is FULLER than I've EVER experienced in my 58 years. Brian (owner) goes beyond the norm to help, is extremely responsive, informative in educating me in how to use each product or which one to use for which auto-immune issue I have (had). **Q: Where is Ancestral Supplememts located "what part of the country" thank you**
A: To answer your question, I searched the world for the most pure, pristine, highest quality environments / animals. New Zealand was the clear choice. It's like a place frozen in time and the NZ cattle ranchers actually care... they treat the land, air and animals like they're passing them on to their children and to their children's children. This is why I source 100% of our organs / glands from New Zealand. Ancestral Supplements headquarters out of Texas... this is where we call home. I love the people here and I love the land.

**Q: Have they been tested for heavy metals?**
A: Yes, we do test for heavy metals, and we have several data sets from 2012 to current (see below)... all levels were well below the "safe for consumption" range. You are likely aware that we produce one small batch at a time to ensure freshness, higher quality and attention to detail... this includes 3rd party testing all products to ensure purity and product specification. 
     
There are several studies that have evaluated heavy metal levels in the organs and muscle meats of healthy cows. All levels were well below the "safe for consumption" range. What's more is that many instances showed heavy metals were higher in the muscle meats than in the organs. If one were to avoid these traditional, nourishing foods in fear of heavy metal exposure, then one should avoid the rest of the animal, too.
  
Based on the testing we have done historically, we have established that our products are pure. All values are in parts per million (ppm).

In 2012 we tested beef liver on 2 separate batches and found the following...

- Arsenic: 0.11, 0.14

**Q: Can the capsules be opened or crushed? (I cannot swallow anything in pill form.)**
A: Yes, it's totally fine to open the capsules! Many of our customers find success by mixing the powder with tomato, cherry or kimchi juice... spicy kimchi juice is my personal favorite. 

If you go with the cherry juice, you can buy the juice, or do what I do at home... I mix a few organic frozen cherries with raw local honey, spring water and desiccated organs, blend, gulp and wipe face. Everybody in the family seems to like this one!

Another idea is to mix the capsule/s with food that you are eating... for instance, I know many customers that mix our products with ground beef and ghee.

**Q: Should I keep these in the fridge?**
A: There's no need to refrigerate any of our products but it won't hurt much either. 

Cold temperatures help food stay fresh longer. The basic idea behind refrigeration is to slow down the activity of microbes (which all food contains) so that it takes longer for the bacteria to spoil the food.

Our products are freeze-dried using a sublimation process to remove the moisture... this type of sublimation dehydration removes 98-99 percent of the moisture content. This leaves virtually no moisture; since microbes (viruses, bacteria, parasites etc) can't survive without moisture, this allows for an ultra pure product profile with a very long shelf life — of course, with no need for additives or preservatives. Studies have shown that freeze dried foods maintain their purity and nutritional value for up to 25 - 30 years! However, to better adhere to our small batch philosophy, we print an expiration date on the bottom of each bottle that is 3 years out from the date of encapsulation and bottling.

Most refrigerators produce higher moisture inside than the outside environment. For this reason, we suggest storing our products in cool, dry area such as a cabinet or cupboard.

I am on Liver, Bone Marrow, Collagen, Kidney and Thymus. I have had many health issues that started during my pregnancy with my fourth child (24 years ago). I felt like my body completely changed and I have had one health issue after another. If I had a day where a felt good that was very usual for me. I just learned to accept feeling terrible and being sick all the time. In August I developed eczema on my hands, a candida/fungal infection on my chest and hives from head to toe. I was absolutely miserable and could not sleep due to the severe itching! I ended up at the doctor’s office and was given a steroid shot. The shot helped a little but I was still breaking out and nothing would stop the horrible itch.
