The tip gets extremely hot and alcohol is a flammable liquid. Sounds like you might be more interested in something like a one gallon pressure/garden sprayer. A must for any backyard activities. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the bugs *by R***O on March 30, 2011* Have used this in some very intense areas for mosquitoes and it does a good job but not with the liquid spray that comes with it. I had to use it more slowly than I thought because it does take it a while to reheat the coils as your spraying. We bought commercially available Malathion and mixed with 50/50 with diesel fuel at first but it was not satisfactory. Then used a 50/50 mix with kerosene and we got it right. DO WEAR BREATHING PROTECTION!!! The mixture we used did a terrific job of eliminating the flying insects in the area but it is also strong and the first time with only a particle mask, I got slightly sick to my stomach.
