The leather is extremely high quality, the workmanship top notch! Which is why I bought a second one. I had to attach schaller strap locks to the first one I bought. Initially it looked like I wouldn’t be able to get the nut of the strap lock threaded because the leather is so thick. I ended up compressing the leather where the holes are for the strap buttons using a wood working clamp, and that thinned it down just enough to get the strap lock threaded. Needless to say, i wasn’t going to remove them to use the strap with another guitar, so I bought this strap to use without the schallers, and it’s a real looker!
