The material cushions the contents to a certain extent. The amount you fit will depend on the size of the containers and how good you are at packing!The bottle holder is handy but if you keep it attached to the bag, it dangles and you might find it hitting you as you walk. Personally I wasn't too bothered.The shoulder strap is adjustable and has a small plastic/rubber (?) support which means it doesn't dig in. The handles are part of the overall neoprene material and are really comfortable to hold.I've had this a few months and it's holding up well.
