I don't care how it's packaged but in my experience beans are not even close to fresh after 3 or 4 weeks. I've been a home roaster for years and taste a noticeable difference in flavor after 3 weeks and I store my beans in a Coffeevac. I'm not saying it's not drinkable after a couple months, but fresh, not! **Q: Is the cocoa processed with alkaline, or does it have all the antioxidants like the healthier form of dark chocolate?** A: I’m not aware that this coffee has any cocoa, cocoa nibs, etc. in it, as on my package the ingredients do not indicate this at all. It contains just delicious, organic coffee beans! I believe that one of the pictures that is being advertised now with this coffee is very deceiving, as it looks as if they have added cocoa , brown sugar, etc., and, to my knowledge, these would just be the tasting notes, or flavor of the actual coffee beans, not actual added ingredients.
