How can I run it slower than low?** A: You might be able to rig up a second speed switch in series with the first, which will have a subtractive effect on the voltage. I have two S2 fans in series, each with a speed setting switch, and the first switch affects both fans, the second affects only the second fan, which did indeed run slower as it stopped on lowest setting and is running (slower) on the mid setting. If it runs slower though, it may stop and it won`t be cooling much at all. Maybe the fan is in need of some TLC? Have you tried applying some lubricant to the fan, such as WD40 with added silicon? I am running 3 of these fans, on mid speed, and can`t hear them from 10 feet away. If the fan is just annoying you when whatever it is cooling is not on, then try plugging it into a USB that switches off when the gear is off. My TV and amplifier do that, only the Sky box leaves the USB power on all the time. Getting a second fan might allow you to run them in series with one running slower, or may demonstrate that your current fan is unusually noisy, in which case you already have a replacement. **Q: Do you get 1 or 2 fans in the pack?** A: This is a single fan in the S2 pack (I agree there are a couple of misleading photos showing use of 2 of them).
