I knew the application technique is sound as I've tried a mascara brush which is great, but the stuff comes off. This Blackbeard solution seems to stay on well, and it's very quick to apply. I don't want full coverage, I just want to balance out some of the greys (no such thing, by the way). It absolutely makes me look younger, it's good fun! The texture does feel weird, so if you're used to stroking beard it is an odd feeling, but that's not a big price to pay.
