Held together nicely without popping open. Seems like it's made with decent materials & craftsmanship; I'm sure it'll last as long as I take good care of it. The basket is really big. You should be able to fit some shorter cinnamon sticks in there.I wish the chain were a little longer. I waited a full 24 hours to get the temperatures and metals to even out, but still couldn't open it.
