They are easily washed, BPA Free, and the perfect sized bowls. They are definitely not small, but much larger than the average sized bowl. Can be used to hold a very large single serving, or to place on the table to serve a favorite food to the family. I love them, a very nice addition to my kitchen, the thickness is very surprising, especially how everything is made so cheap now, these are made very well. They also have many colors to choose from, and the quality is outstanding. They will last a very long time in my opinion. They stack easily in my cabinet and I will be purchasing some for my daughter as well, thanks for making a Very Well Made Item!
