The mirror however is heavier than expected, I had a similar one before with LED lights which was quite lightweight and this one weighs a bit more. You can put AA batteries in it to make the LED's work or you can plug it into a socket with the usb lead. Be mindful however, that there is no plug included with this product and that there is also no internal battery, so the usb is more like a power lead than a charger for this item.BEWARE that after having used the mirror for a few weeks now, I have noticed that when closed, the smaller mirrors fall out as they are only attached by a sticky pad.
