Man kann also den Gesang ausblenden.Ebenfalls gibt es die Stücke noch zweimal als mp3. Und zwar einmal zum Anhören mit Gesang und einmal nur die Band.Die Noten enthalten die Solo-Linie und die Angabe der Begleitakkorde. Die Begleitung ist also nicht ausnotiert worden.Die Noten nehmen jeweils eine Doppelseite ein.Auch sind die Noten scheinbar in C-Dur bzw. einmal in G-Dur gesetzt. Der Trick liegt dabei daran, dass die Abweichungen in derTonhöhe jeweils unmittelbar vor die Note gesetzt wurden. Und zwar sowohl mit b als auch mit # in einer Zeile munter durcheinander.Die Übungen sind schon rhythmisch anspruchsvolle Solo-Linien. Sie sollen zum Einen sicher das synchrone Nachsingen derartiger Noten schulen, als auch eigene Scat-Improvisationen anregen.
