This example wasn't as good a shaver as the first, so I went looking into the newly made market again. After some more research, I landed on this product and am well pleased with it. Pleased enough that it has become my #1 everyday razor.Like the other reviewers have said, it is made of quality materials, feels solid and sturdy and most importantly: gives you a close, comfortable shave every time. So far, I've been using a used Astra blade in it and it has performed flawlessly. I'm looking forward to trying one of the brand-name blades they included in the kit. And the long handle is also a nice feature my other razors didn't have - and I like the extra grip and control it provides.Overall, a well made, solid, quality affordable double edge, butterfly style razor that will give you years of excellent service. If you want a razor that gets the job done, this is the one. After years of using "cartridge" style razors, I purchased this razor earlier in the year, and I don't see myself going back to cartridge razors.I don't shave every day, but when I do, this razor really gets the job done. I use it with Edge Gel for sensitive skin. The razor has a nice heft to it, though it's not too heavy, which I personally like. I usually wear a goattee, and shaving around it is no problem at all. Admittedly, I haven't tried "under lip" and chin shaving yet, because of this, but I assume it works there as well as it does everywhere else on my face.Since I've been shaving with cartridge razors for so long, I'm still getting used to using this razor the "right" way, but so far I am extremely happy. Now if I can just find high quality replacement blades.I would highly recommend this razor for anyone looking to make a change from cartridge razors, and anyone looking to save some money on shaving supplies.
