You must mount a scope or other sighting device. Jürgen **Q: Where is this product manufactured?** A: American company manufactured in China **Q: Will this fit on a nylon 66?** A: I would say no. **Q: If i dont have screw holes on my gun, how do I install this?** A: Most Ruger 10/22 ship with screws and holes already mounted on the rifle. They also ship with their version of a rail mount in the box. Based on the recommendations of many I bought a second party rail mount and mounted it with the screws supplied by them. I removed the screws already in the 10/22. If there are no holes drilling is your only option by a master gunsmith, and the cost would be as much as the gun, I'm guessing.
