I haven't washed it yet (as it's new) but with the fully removable cover I'm certain it will wash up fine.It also looks great in my lounge. As my dog is blonde, I chose the caramel colour so his hairs wouldn't show too much on it. Beds are good quality, I purchased two for our labradors. Although the picture shows the dog resting his head on the bolster edging, the beds do not actually sit like that, with a dog inside ! The sides are not as firm or high as they would appear to be, and in actual fact the beds lie like flat pancakes on the floor, no amount of repositioning will make the bolster edges stand up. However, the bedding part is very acceptable to our dogs, 11 year old black female and 4 year old chocolate male, they can stretch out in comfort.
