Review: Works fine without power. - Purchased for a domestic setup, not in-car use. I have mini CD/DAB system and really needed to add a small active subwoofer to the decent but small pair of speakers attached to it; it has no output for a sub, hence this purchase. I was slightly worried as to whether this device would work without the power wires being connected but I'm pleased to say it works fine in this setup.
