HOWEVER, we it works best is when some peice of furniture is placed on the edges just to stop slippage also when you cut to size make it sever so slightly smaller ie leave a 2cm gap this allows the edge of the rug to touch the floor rather than standing proud. We have one rug not pinned down a small fireside rug and this does slip but you could yuse double sided tape on the underlay as it is a small rug in front of a fire we haven't bothered. The difference if feel is brilliant turns a cheap rug into a luxurious one. However the company were very helpful and promptly refunded me. I then placed a second order which arrived within a day. I bought this to use as underlay in my garage, and for that it is fine. As with everything, you get what you pay for. This underlay is extremely good value for money, so don't expect it to be high quality. It is an ok product that is perfect for my needs, but not sure I would use it inside my house.
