They are nothing alike. Fortunately, a very friendly service man steered me in the right direction for free. In the actual dryer itself, in the timer unit at the top of the dryer, there is a electrical wiring diagram sheet (you have to unscrew the top part to get to it). Hopefully you can understand electrical schematics. Once we knew what the original colored wires belonged to and what they operated, we figured out how they corresponded to the new colors on the new wiring harness and switches.
