I know the factory is in Utah. Don't expect gourmet food out of the container. It's just for an emergency. I don't think I would keep it for the 25 years posted on the container. I plan to rotate after about 15 years. Another tip, don't use a lot of water when cooking or you end up with "soupy" food unless you boil some of the water out when cooking.
