Sika Lastomer 710 is a butyl sealant for sealing and caulking in industrial bodywork, construction and maintenance of buses, caravans, motorhomes, automobiles and metal construction. Technical information: Application temperature: +10°C to +35°C Density: 1.4 kg/l approx. Skin formation time: about 10 min to 30 min GOOD TO KNOW: Recommended when looking for the possibility of subsequent dismantling. Has good adhesion on a wide range of substrates without surface preparation.

Used to redo a seal around a motorhome fridge vents. Difficult to apply, but does form a good seal and is not so difficult to remove should you need to dismantle the seal, which seems likely for the fridge vents. Has a slight tendency to flow, so seeps out the lower vertical joints, but is easy to neaten off. Though I wouldn't like to use this for all seals, but seals that are likely to be dismantled it's great for., easier to remove, old stuff has a bluetack consistency.
