**Q: How is this ube? ingredient list says artificial sweet potato flavoring with purple food coloring. exactly how is this ube anything. ube is a yam.**
A: It gives a hint and color of ube to cakes and pastries. Of course, it cannot replace using real purple yam but that is very time consuming to do. Just like other flavoring, like Banana flavor, they use artificial flavor to mimic the taste.

**Q: Is this pancake syrup or coffee syrup consistency?**
A: syrup consistency, just a little bit it is good enough to make cake ube toppings,bread?a little bit more it is a concentrated extract, can be used repeatedly after opening,must be refrigerated.,since it is natural ube extract..,

**Q: Did this extract recipe change? The past 2 times I ordered, it is very runny. I am used to it being a thick consistency.**
