It took a bit of fiddling to figure out the best way to load this little gem, but once I got it I was in love. I wind my yarn on a crank, spool winder, into a ball not bigger than the YARNIT and load it on it's side, pulled from the center in the globe. (Pictured) The yarn feeds beautifully and I can knit/crochet directly without pulling out a couple of yards first. Perfection! It sits nicely, even on the arm of my big chair, and the rubber base is great. I bought two for myself and one for my daughter. The ladies in my guild have been buying them from other sites and we all love them. Admittedly they could be larger to hold more yarn, but since I don't want to carry around a bowling ball bag for the YARNIT this suits me perfectly.
