Heavy weight, but a good quality heavy; not like that "comfort colors" crap. Whoever marketed that was brilliant because they sold it and it's not colorful or comfortable. Buy this shirt if you HATE comfort colors tees. Imagine still having that well loved favorite tshirt from the early 2000s that you just can't part with, it's broken in, it's super soft, if fits well, & you just feel cozy in it. That is this t shirt. It IS an oversized fit, so I ordered a medium when I'm normally a large in bella tshirts (only because I don't like super fitted clothing), I wanted this shirt to feel just slightly oversized. Not necessarily super oversized like I'm wearing a nightshirt. I just wanted it to look like "oh hey girl, looking good.... have you lost weight? Me: yeah girl thanks for noticing 😉" (but I haven't lost weight hehe). This shirt will do that for you. Also, I was hoping for a richer brown, but this isn't it. Five stars for comfort & style, 4 stars for color. For reference, I am 5' 6" and 160 pounds.
