Review: Tastes good in soups, gravies, with noodles and rice - I liked the taste and its unique flavour. Since it's fermented, it's best used with noodles and in soups. I've also used it in Indian curries to thicken the gravy, and also in making kimchi. Considering it's expected, it's good value for money. It's very salty and smells fragrant, both just as intended.
Review: Smell is little like blanched tomatoes - Doenjang is overhyped. 😄 But its a good base for making soup.
