Do the washers on the plugs go infront of the shading or behind once the plug is through the netting** A: Hello, they go in front of the shading, you push the Elloplug through the washer first. Once the plug is through the shading the washer gives a larger surface area of contact with the material which gives a stronger hold and helps prevent tearing, (particularly if you are using bubble insulation in winter). The support clips push into the grooves in the aluminium frame and the Elloplugs push onto the edges of any flat lengths. With a combination of the 2, you can get everywhere to fix the bubblewrap. The support clips are easy to fix - push them in then twist to secure, then push the bubble wrap onto it and finally the little green ring to keep in place. I did find that when attaching a few layers of bubble wrap onto one clip they did tend to come away so I used the larger rings from the Elloplugs under the smaller fastening rings that come with the clips and this worked really well. I took off one star just for this.
