Item works well.  The lighted flames are really pretty realistic, and the sound is believable.  Heat is adequate with the multiple level blower to disperse the heat better.  Very pleased.

   Only had the unit 2 days but I am impressed. I bought it to replace the original fireplace insert that came with the television entertainment center. It stopped working and I could not get an exact replacement. This unit really worked out great. It fits nicely in the opening and actually looks more realistic than the one I replaced. It puts out more heat too!

Not great. Might heat a small space like a... bathroom? Didn't even slightly heat our small living room, don't even think the heater worked. And the flame is silly, it pulses or slow strobes, fire doesn't do that so it just looks odd. This is the third insert I've tried, and cheaper ones looked more realistic. Returning item. Not realistic looking and for the higher BTU, heater is weak.
