We were out at the pool and the speaker was easily 50 feet away and could hear it beautifully. Came inside and paired it to our television with ease and no hassle. A: No just the two

**Q: If I plug this in, then cut power and restore power, will it come back on? Or does it default to "off" when it power cycles?**
A: It stays on if your only charging it and then unplug it. You won't be sorry buying one of these little bad boys. We take ours to the river the kitchen and yes even on the bathroom sink. The water proof design is great. It has incredible sound with great bass.
