My hummzinger leaks easily when tipped and squirerels drain it daily.** A: It's not a tight seal. If it's tipped over, the contents can spill out. I've never had a problem with it, but I don't have squirrels. Perhaps you can tape it in several spots. **Q: Is this PBA free and does it have bee guards. thanks.** A: Bee guards are not necessary. The holes are just right for the hummer beaks and too small for flying insects. I discovered this feeder after going insane with feeders with bee guards. Squirrels and/or raccoons would get to the feeder and remove the bee guards. Then it was really difficult to deal with. Love the Nature Product especially since it goes in the dishwasher. I have four and rotate them so as I take two down, they can be immediately replaced with the other two. I have given them as gifts and everybody loves them. I don't have any of the boxes so can't look for mfg. If you can find out the company that makes them, maybe you can get the BPA answer. **Q: My feeder did not include hook and brush as described. How can I get them or do I send back the whole feeder?** A: I would send it back. The hook is designed for this feeder. Not sure where you could find a suitable replacement, not too mention it should have been included. Same for the brush.
