I ordered three brands of XS to see if I could find a better option for me. These XS are just right in my opinion - the other two that I bought barely even came to my fingertips, but these are just a tiny extra tip above my finger (enough to feel fancy) but not so long that I can’t text or open envelopes. I’ve been cleaning the house for two days to have guests (without gloves) and I haven’t lost one yet- the matte seems to keep them on well and I didn’t scuff up the inside extra before I applied. They do have wee tabs at the tip where they are attached when they arrive, but it took one second to file that smooth. In other brands I seem to have too-wide thumbnail beds but I didn’t even use the biggest one that was sent with these (and there were a ton of much smaller than I needed as well).
