It's slightly tacky but not that loud either. The case fits very well, feels very solid, strong, and heavy while still feeling nice. It makes your tablet as heavy as a notebook computer of the same size. When your not typing it basically goes to sleep and then when you start typing again you have to give it like 5 seconds to reconnect to the Bluetooth.
