I am a little disappointed that they are a bit more dense/firm then I thought but I didn't research that feather and down are different and not the same. Feather pillows are more dense/firm and down is more soft. I guess I was looking for a pillow with both but this pillow has more feather material then down so it feels more firm to me then soft like I thought. All in all my husband and i think they are ok but not what I was looking for.
