I spray on lt wt stabilizer on back and then float non stretch under the hoop. on top mI use a washaway lightweight but I can tear it all away. a little of mist won’t hurt the velvet. I also hoop this on sticky so no hoop burn. Use slanted basting sts further in then seam line to prevent creep. **Q: Are these the things in the back of a patch?** A: Yes. They could be.
