This Protective Clam Cover is a US-designed, veteran-made thermoplastic shield specifically built for the Mevo Start camera. It blocks sun and rain, prevents overheating with durable PETG material, and features a cold shoe mount for accessories. Ideal for outdoor sports streaming, it maintains audio clarity while extending device lifespan.

## Description

Thank you for your interest in the Protective Clam Cover for the Mevo Start! I've designed this case as a protective shield from rain and sun and to add conveniences including a cold shoe and swappable logo tags(not included). The Mevo Start is not waterproof and there is NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY with this purchase. Using your Mevo Start in adverse weather conditions, even with this case, could void the manufacture warranty. These are 3D printed in PETG. PETG is a durable, heat and UV resistant material that holds up outdoors but is also more challenging to print than some other materials. There may be imperfections. Anything I ship will function as intended and it will look reasonably good. NOTES: This might not accommodate bulky cables. I recommend using cables with 90° plugs or adapters. The Mevo Start, fan, and microphone or stand in the photos are not included. The case ONLY.

Review: Helps a Ton - Bought it for my Mevo that I use for baseball games in Southern California. I still have over heating issues if I live stream, but stand alone recordings I have zero issues with the Clam Cover. But this is in games where its well over 100 degrees and no shade. Havent used it in rain, but I imagine its water resistant. I ended up drilling a hole in the front so I can see the green/red light. No sound issues with it on. It fits snug around the mevo. I'm buying a 2nd Mevo and I will be buying a 2nd Clam Cover.

This little clamshell checks all the boxes. It's been rained on, in 100+ degree direct sunlight, and the camera was completely protected. There's enough space behind the camera to get a 6-inch soft USB-C cable plugged into the back of the camera and ran down to a battery pack. Fit like a glove and since the top lifts up easily, I can turn the camera on and off with no fuss.
