Review: Brilliant dash cam! - Bought this dash cam about 2 weeks ago and was so impressed with the video quality and the ease of use that I bought another one for my wife’s car. It’s very easy to install and it works straight away. The only thing that takes a bit of time is to find places to hide the cables but that is different from car to car. I installed one in a 2018 BMW estate and one in a Fiat 500. Very happy customer.
Review: Exceptional value for money - For the price, this is an exceptional dash cam. I currently have it installed to plug in at the cigarette lighter, I may hard wire it in at some point as our cars lighter socket does not switch off with the ignition. Installation is easy, for our particular vehicle the review camera wire was a little too long so I had to be creative in hiding the excess but it was easy enough. The play back is the fantastic, its clear, gives you a running location, speed and time. Its crystal clear footage . Honestly, I cant fault this set up. I looked at far more expensive dash cams, and I am so glad I opted for this one. Highly recommended!!!!

A great system, excellent value. The picture (front camera) is superb, not fitted the rear one yet. My only issue is playback of recorded videos, they're in a special GKU format - .FTS which is not playable on either a Mac or a PC, only on the phone app. There is a video conversion app (VLC Media player) but this will not work on an Apple laptop. This makes viewing footage only possible on a phone, not ideal if checking on accident footage and/or number plates etc. Perhaps the police have better software? Hopefully any user will never need to view accident footage but a recording format for Windows and/or an Apple computer would be desirable.
