Tuned to beautiful melodies and scales from around the world and available in a wide range of styles, songs and sizes, you can choose the Woodstock Chime that speaks to your soul. HOW IT ALL BEGAN. Garry and his wife Diane founded Woodstock Percussion, in 1979 and it remains a family-owned business in New York's Hudson Valley. Grammy award-winning musician Garry Kvistad created the first Woodstock Chime from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. As a professional musician and instrument designer, he was fascinated by the Scales of Olympos, a 7th century pentatonic scale that can't be played on a modern piano. Garry had the idea to cut and tune the lawn chair chime tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The resulting Chimes of Olympos was the first Woodstock Chime and is still one of our bestselling wind chimes. It was a gift. *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2022* I thought it was bigger but my fault for not reading the details closely. Sounds amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Me encantan el sonido de estos sonajeros. *by I***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2022* Ya lo coloque en mi terracita, para cuándo de el viento pueda escucharlo 😻 ### ⭐⭐⭐ Smaller than I thought *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2022* I have loads of Woodstock wind chimes and several from the Encore collection. These are a little disappointing as they are very small and i DID read the description prior to buying. These are listed as 17” and that is measuring from the tippy top to the extreme bottom of the engravable part. Also there is no metal loop on the string from which to hang which makes this look not as well crafted as all the rest. They do sound lovely so it is what it is but lacks the visual beauty the others have. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/61420266-woodstock-chimes-dce17-the-original-guaranteed-musically-tuned-mars-chime](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/61420266-woodstock-chimes-dce17-the-original-guaranteed-musically-tuned-mars-chime) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
