Sturdy. Parts fit together well.* Mostly metal. Should last decades.* Easy to build. Just Philips head screws and nuts.* The box and packing material were relatively good for something in this price range.* Cleaning with a water hose every so often should be pretty easy.The Neutral:* This nesting box does not have a back. If you are installing on a flat wood surface then this isn't a problem. I am installing this in a "plastic" Suncast shed so I must mount a piece of plywood first, then mount this nesting box onto the plywood.* This box must be mounted onto a wall. It comes with little hooks in the kit. I suppose it could rest on the floor of the coop too, but the back side must be propped up with a piece of 2x4. I read that nesting boxes should be about 20" off the floor so I will mount it on the wall.The bad:* Instructions were useless, but nicely laminated! Had poor images and very few written instructions.* One side of the instructions was apt for the unit. The other side for was for a different nesting box. Confusing.* The metal was slightly sharp in some areas.
