This is the best reference book for the civil engineering PE exam. I always like this manual because it presents the basic of hydraulics and hydrology in a fundamental form not usually taught by overeducated professors in college. Updated rainfall data can be found on-line, but the basic procedures haven't changed in decades for the practicing engineer working a for-real design problem. But, I can say I have a copy of the original from 'way back when!
