Easy to do up via the pin-less buckle and long, wide, Velcro strap. The size Large, fits a 98cm waist done up at it's tightest. My husband wears his over his working shirt and it doesn't slip or ride up. He uses it for lifting bags of cement which are difficult to get a grip on and lift 'properly' due to their awkward size. Surprised more people don't use them in a workplace environment as well as in their recreational time. Their use would cut down on that common workplace ailment - the bad back! My husband finds it most useful when working in the garden, especially on his ride-on mower. It supports his back during long periods of mowing the grass. I went for the XL size which is supposed to be for waist 41''- 46'' (my waist is 42''- 44'' depending on dietary discipline lol). However, the belt was nowhere near big enough. Rather than return it I had it altered and now it works perfectly (it put 10 kg on my squat and deadlift immediately).
