Not only did I recover without surgery - and the shoe has to get some credit for that - but I now walk with much greater ease than previously. This latest pair are the best yet providing comfort and stability which gives me much more confidence in negotiating uneven surfaces. And I love the sexy white look! Vanity is not to be underestimated. Expensive but the quality is absolutely worth it.
