You have to order a replacement. I ordered one and Amazon said it would ship in November. In other words, they don't have it in stock (1/4"x20). **Q: Will it work on impact wrench?** A: NO, it will not work with a impact wrench. The hammering over tightens and strips the threads. I know this first hand. **Q: Can this be used for plastic rivets, nuts ?** A: If you mean rivet nuts for plastic, I don't see why not; but I would use a lever-type tool when working with softer materials. When I last used this item, I would have to clamp the part I was working with to my workbench using clamps or the bench vise. I purchased both sizes of this tool. its quick, easy to use, and precise in placement of the nut, especially in tight quarters. You'll need to "waste" a few nuts for training (for your specific drills torque setting) but once you have things tuned-in, you'll wonder how you ever did without it.
