I love all types of music, and these seem to work with everything from death metal to Dvorak. The real test for me is listening to the canon fire in the 1812 Overture. Most headphones completely distort this. These? Impactful and totally clean. You may feel like you want to duck! At this point I have listened to a broad range of music styles, acoustic guitar, soloists, classic rock, opera, experimental. These headphones are clean and transparent. Plenty of bass without the unnatural emphasis found in most. Just clean, "like you are there" music.
